Thank you for stopping by Voovidswing.com. We are of course under construction. As of right now if you got here you probably want to take a look at the Music Database. There are many tools there so that you can find the music that you want to listen and dance to. There is a lot of music that the West Coast Swing Dance community likes to dance to. I am hoping that finding that latest song or an old gem has now become easier.

If you don't know who I am, let me introduce myself. My name is Rick Weston and I have been an avid West Coast Swing dancer for going on 20 years. I also have an extensive background in music in general. I have been a member of several musical groups and at one time entertained a career in music. I did not ever pursue that old dream as much as others, but at the very least the partial persuit of a musical background has given me great insight into music in general. I can also tell you that I have learned that I could never be a DJ. It is just too much work for me.

In addition to Music, my career has been spent teaching others to dance and developing my skills in the art of Web-Application Development. In a nutshell, my whole life and career has been spent doing one or more of three things, Dance, Music, and Web Development. This makes me uniquely suited to provide and on-line platform for West Coast Swing Dancers to congregate and share information.

I am not going to bore you with a lot of details about what is or is not coming. We have all seen the web-sites that are always under construction. For this reason I am not going to promise anything specific. But I think you can ascertain the general idea of my plans by examining the links above. I will of course announce when anything new comes on-line.
